Eco Institut Tested

The Eco Institut is an independent testing institution which is headquartered in Germany. Its purpose is to test products with chemical, analytical, and physical lab tests to make sure those products comply with national and international guidelines and standards. One of the priorities of the Eco Institut is to measure emissions.

The Eco Institut is accredited as an expert testing organization by other testing bodies and label providers, such as Blue Angel, Cork-Logo, and LEED. It tests products according to both national and international standards and quality requirements.

Euro-Latex® Eco Standard

Our products conform to the EuroLatex Eco Standard, which defines the maximum acceptable limits of substances considered harmful to health. This ensures that the latex foam we use do not contain any volatile or allergen-producing compounds. The certification attests that our products are safe and pose no risk to the sleeper.

The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100

The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. The Oeko-Tex® Association awards the label “Tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100” which attest to the cleanliness and purity of the products and ensure the products are processed by a company which complies with health standards.

Purolatex®'s Latex components and mattress fabric are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified. This is the strictest certification and ensures that they comply with health standard and are safe even for babies.

QUL Certificate

QUL Certificate is a label for natural latex mattresses, by eco-INSTITUT (Germany)

Mattresses meeting the strictest requirements which were co-developed by eco-INSTITUT may be labelled with the QUL certificate
Parametres of the test are, for example, volatile organic compounds (VOC), pesticides, health-hazarduous heavy metalls, PCP and nitrosamines.
